On October 25th, Massachusetts General Hospitals Brigham and Womens Medical Center announced that its researchers have trained a foundational artificial intelligence (AI) model using over 40 million facial images and developed AI tools based on it to estimate a persons biological age and predict the survival of cancer patients. The related research paper was recently published in the British medical journal *The Lancet Digital Health*. This model is named FAHR-Face, short for "Foundational AI Model for Health Recognition." The research team developed two tools based on this model: one for estimating a patients biological age, and another for directly predicting the survival prognosis of cancer patients based on facial photographs. On October 25, local time, the Naha District Public Prosecutors Office in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, indicted U.S. Marine Devin Ballard on charges of robbery and murder. Ballard is suspected of murdering a local woman at a hotel in Naha City and stealing her belongings. The indictment states that on October 3, Ballard strangled a woman with a telephone cord at a hotel in Naha City, killing her and stealing her backpack. Ballard was arrested by Okinawa Prefectural Police on October 4.Saudi Arabias benchmark stock index fell 2.3%.Saudi-led coalition: Saudi Arabia intercepted 10 ballistic missiles fired by Yemens Houthi rebels toward the southern region. On October 25th, Goldman Sachs strategists lowered their target for the South Korean KOSPI index by 25%. This follows several upward revisions to the indexs target earlier this year, but the downward revision is driven by growing market concerns about AI-related trades. The team of analysts, led by Timothy Mo, lowered their 12-month target for the KOSPI from 12,000 points to 9,000 points. They noted that given the benchmark index has fallen more than 35% from its June high, valuation assumptions need to be more cautious. These strategists believe the recent sell-off has left the South Korean stock market severely undervalued; even after the target reduction, the index still has over 60% upside potential.

Social media hacks and vulnerabilities seem to have become the new paradigm in cybercrime, with more and more crypto blockchains and DeFi protocols falling victim to this problem this year. Axie Infinity was the most recent victim of the same.

Axie Infinity Blames MEE6

Axie Infinity announced today through Twitter that the MEE6 bot, which was deployed on their primary Axie server, has been hijacked.

According to the investigation, the hacker utilized the MEE6 to provide a fake Jiho account bogus rights, and then fraudulent announcements about a mint were broadcast on the channels.

The MEE6 bot was disabled shortly after, and the phony communications were erased. Nonetheless, one person claims that their NFT and domain have been taken.

The MEE6 team responded that the claims leveled against them were "fake news," since they had not seen any odd behavior or been approached by any legitimate community owners.

The admin accounts of Axie Infinity's Discord server were hijacked, according to the MEE6 support server, allowing the hacker to utilize the MEE6 bot to publish phishing messages and links in the channels.

Whatever the situation may be, the Axie Infinity investment community is losing patience, since this is the platform's second assault, the first being a $625 million breach.

Axie Infinity's Ronin Bridge vulnerability, dubbed "the largest hack in the history of crypto," was responsible for half of all crypto assaults in the first quarter of 2022.

Axie Infinity must improve its security in the future before investors begin to withdraw their monies.
